Google+

With the launch of Google+, Google has finally developed a product that can reduce the mighty Facebook to the levels of myspace and hi5. Though it is too early to say so, but the concept and its implementation look brilliant.

It is so easy to make private things private in Google+.  In Google+ you can arrange your friends in circles (friends, family etc) reflecting your friendship level with the person. Then while sharing a post you can select the circle that you want to share the post with. Also you can share the post to single/multiple persons by typing their names/email ids.

There are also a lot of other features like "Spark" where the user can select the activites/fields/topics etc that interest him. Then there is "Hangout". Here you can start your own live feed (video+audio) which you can share with your friends and so virtually they can also hangout with you. Google+ has also implemented the "Like" feature in its own way. In google+ you +1 the post you like.

As of now, I am still checking out google+. The privacy feature is the one that has stood out for me and i know that i am not alone.
So Google+ = Facebook + Privacy which makes sense even for a compiler.

Currently Google+ is in testing phase. You can sign up for the service at https://plus.google.com/ or through invitation.

So guys check out Google+ for yourself. It may be the NEXT BIG THING.

Keep Sharing,
Ankit
